@sb@metroholografix.ca origami based mixed media artist & homesteader here... looking forward to moving on from basic home repairs, to making a beater & sheet drawer to make my own paper, ....after growing my own flax & amaranth of course....

When I was a boy in beavers (pre-cub scouts) I would make my own paper from recycled paper and cotton scraps (my mother was a seamstress, so there were lots). My father and I made frames out of reshaped wire coat hangers, and used nylon stockings as the mesh. It was great fun refining the process - figuring out what worked and what didn't... I even tried making paper from dryer lint. I hope to see your exploits!
