One thought is whether Starlink should become a globally-owned service contributed to by countries around the world. If it's going to both benefit people globally (or should, at least), and is also going to impact people globally (so much more can still be done in future to lower impacts on night sky viewing), the ownership should be global too, rather than being limited to one country (and even then mostly one man in particular). It could help with pricing if it was seen as a service worth supplementing rather than a purely commercial enterprise too. Unlikely to happen for so many reasons, I know. Just another thought rolling around in my head. Not even sure it's a fully developed thought, but, curious to hear from others. #space #starlink
