It's kind of crazy how Brave browser got all that unnecessary hate in the beginning only to become the absolute beast of a browser and best option in 2026. Brave gang for life!

@adrint@shitposter.world Chromium may be heavy on resources, but it's better at security. It's definitely a tradeoff.

@charlie_root@annihilation.social i love brave but i wish it wasnt so resource intensive. This is a problem with every chromium browser i dont really think the brave devs are to blame.

@charlie_root@annihilation.social I think Vivaldi is the only other browser that actually offers the features in need — sync between Linux and iOS with an ad blocker on iOS. But Brave is better overall.
