@jasonsantamaria@typo.social but what’s the point? The author’s own illustrations show that this approach is fallacious: the smaller fonts of course look much heavier *at the same absolute stroke weight* than the taller ones – because they enclose much smaller portions of white, among other causes. What am I missing here?

    @kai@typo.social I think that is the point — not about optical correction to give the impression of similar stroke width, but to create absolute stroke width.
