Related to this, if any #gardening peeps have suggestions for warding off deer that doesn't involve getting a dog or building a tall fence, I'm all eyes, as neither is an option For Reasons.

@yuuana@wandering.shop I'm not sure if you've any fence right now, or if any fencing is an option, but I've seen the recommendation to space two fences higher than can be stepped over far enough apart that the deer cannot jump the first without hitting the second. Unsure if you could in any clever way work this into your garden plan? Another potentially more feasible option that probably doesn't work in all circumstances is making a deer garden as an offering. Finally, you can apparently buy wolf/coyote urine and I guess that helps? Don't ask me how they collect it.
