I just launched a batteries-included project of beets, the phenominal music manager for nerds. While beets is usually a highly sophisticated tool which needs to be installed into your Python environment via pip, in addition to setting up ffmpeg/gstreamer yourself, indie-beets delivers all of that in a unzip and launch kind of way.
