But does that necessarily mean they predate penises in general?
Because I have no idea which critters do or don't have penises. I just know that mammals do not have a monopoly on that.

@Tofu_Golem@kolektiva.social penises have been arohnd at least 425 million years so the general concept of an insertive reproductory male organ is older than geoducks. But the joke is that they resemble the penis of our species (allegedly), which are a couple orders of mag younger.
