@jackdaniel@functional.cafe Yeah, it is literally that the advertising people (as documented ind Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide) got a computer that was so good at making manipulative advertisements that now when we see or hear something that sounds legitimate and attractive, heuristically the right thing to do is to start running in the opposite direction. The remaining heuristic being something like, is the project already at least five years old at this point. - Deeply unfairly.
