1. they are the best source for food, gear, iron, xp, enchantments, and a lot more, idk.
2. they are repetitive and unengaging to work with.
3. they are literal fucking humans. they are the human mob. they are the person character.
in effect, they heavily reward straight up slave trafficking and extremely boring play as the best way to get almost all vital progression resources. genuinely inexcusable game design from mojang.

@alliumm@mk.absturztau.be I dislike that the good ones are caucasian and all the other skin colors (illager, chillager, zombie villager, witch, etc) are enemies. White people can't directly hurt you (only their golems can) but everyone else is immediately hostile? People have complained about this for years yet Microsoft has done nothing. Even though we know it's set up that way because Notch is openly racist.
