@anokasion@hidamari.apartments @EdBoatConnoisseur@poa.st replace it. don't discuss with anyone. if it's a real improvement and looks clean and professional, you don't need permission. strong nylon cord and a soft plastic handle. also, search for "cistern chain guide" or "wardrobe rail centre bracket". this needs to be installed so the cord stays vertical.
