Wish there was a better text-to-speech engine rather than speech-to-text. I tend to want my computer to speak to me more than I want to speak to my computer.
Guess that’s just me.

I assume you are talking about eSpeak? It sounds very robotic (and bad). Maybe Mozilla’s TTS is an option, I don’t know. Source github.com/mozilla/TTS and some examples erogol.com/ddc-samples/ .
