@darkwiiplayer@fosstodon.org I really don't know what capitalism did to deserve so much hate. Most of it just comes down to to some governments sucking at regulation (Who thought giving healthcare and law services to private sector in case of USA for example?). Switching to another system wouldn't solve things, because both systems hit the same brick wall: people. It's about effective, up to date regulation and enforcement; something a lot of governments don't bother with.

@person@fosstodon.org The problem is that capitalism is often treated like the magic cure to everything. Capitalism isn't working? Try more capitalism. It's the same shit that makes any other system collapse. Societies need to forget that people corrupt systems. Whatever system they like, people will corrupt it, and it will be a shitty system because of it, unless it is counteracted. Capitalism is just really good at hiding this corruption. Better than most other systems, I'd say.
