@person@fosstodon.org The problem is that capitalism is often treated like the magic cure to everything. Capitalism isn't working? Try more capitalism. It's the same shit that makes any other system collapse.
Societies need to forget that people corrupt systems. Whatever system they like, people will corrupt it, and it will be a shitty system because of it, unless it is counteracted.
Capitalism is just really good at hiding this corruption. Better than most other systems, I'd say.

@person@fosstodon.org Either way, my original post was just a bit of a shitpost. We live in a capitalist system, so we get to see the failings of capitalism all the time. If I lived in a communist system, I probably would be shitting on communism instead, but I just don't, so capitalism is the one to get the complaint lol
