Then, after moving from Plasmo to bedframe *just so I can use vite*, I still can not get the right incantation of vite config + pglite setup. Seriously, no wonder dev teams just push Electron bloated crap.

It works on Firefox!I ~5ms insertion of a document on pglite using OPFS (10x speed up), on a very naive implementation. Should have tried before...

@raphael@mastodon.communick.com there was an article floating a while back about using sqlite in the browser with HTTP range headers... I'm not sure that would work for an extension, but maybe it's worth a look. https://sqlite.org/wasm/doc/trunk/demo-123.md
