This survey really says all about how SNCF thinks travellers use their services. You drive to the station by car and take a train to Paris or so. Arrival by train and changing to another train? Scroll faaaar down for that option.
And this is for Strasbourg, which is as good as it gets for a rail-rail connection.

@dominicstucki@urbanists.social tram is even further down. It's not like Strasbourg has one of the best tram networks in the country… But then again, the presence of "RER/Transilien" and "métro" shows it's likely not city-specific.
