This was my original amateur radio license from 1977. It was issued on this day many years ago. Took a few days for it to arrive at my mailbox...

I didn’t have a street address and lived on a "Rural Route” so had to use a descriptive “fixed” location; 3. The FCC used to issue licenses out of Gettysburg of all places; I got one of the last Novice licenses before no-code tech came into being in 1991;
