    @Red_Shirt_no2@c.im @hacks4pancakes@infosec.exchange resilience doesn’t mean invulnerable. So it could be DNS. Bits can fail. Although what I’ve read so far suggests not this time. The beauty and the horror of DNS is that it can still mostly work even with broken configs or dodgy implementations. Sometimes you need a system to fail to spot problems. The controlled interruption phase new TLDs go through when delegated to the internet root is a good example of this thinking. On second thought, it was probably DNS
