@thomasfuchs @dnf this reminds me a lot of how HTTPS didn't really finally start to gain serious traction until the mid 2010s and only in the 2020s is it finally reaching a point where it is ubiquitous. It's the same level of naivety and irresponsibility to deploy these new technolgies without also developing the technology to guard against deliberate and motivated adversarial interference.
