@onepict@chaos.social @MadSci@focal.social @feditips@mstdn.social Yes, and that is true even of Twitter, Facebook, etc. Feditips has set itself up as a bit of a central authority on fediverse etiquette and explaining, so the original post seems a bit strident in saying people should NOT do something. I had shared this account as a useful one for my fellow #twittermigration folks. Now I am wondering if I made a mistake and took a side in a "fight"

@palafo@mstdn.social @MadSci@focal.social @feditips@mstdn.social feditips spends alot of time interacting with the community and takes alot of care with it. They also run the account @FediFollows@mastodon.online , they reach out to each of the accounts they feature to check if we are happy to be featured and if we are happy how we are described. They have earned their place as they have helped to make our community more accessible to others. I'll always welcome community building.
