However, I think that the ultimate is the Fringe Festival in August when the area around Whyte Avenue is jam-packed full of theatre venues and performances of all kinds. This places you close to #HappyBeerStreet, 99 Street south of Whyte, where there are 7 different breweries, with more close by. It's a perfect chance to cycle around having fun. The River Valley, to the north, includes hiking terrain.
