@clock@net.miaumuh.ch that’s really odd. I use Mastodon daily (since 2022) and this has never happened to me. Are you self-hosting it?

@_elena@mastodon.social No I am not self-hosting it. How can people participate in Mastodon when it works only for some (you) and not others (me)? Will people be divided into a next level of digital divide, those for who Mastodon frivolously decided to work and those for who Mastodon frivolously decided to not work? I've been using free and open source software exclusively for 29 years and co-authored some programs (Links browser) and my experience is exactly like this, that it's unreliable and when I report bugs, I get verbally abused instead of the bug being fixed, so I stopped reporting bugs decades ago. #selfhosting #mastodon #unreliable #digitaldivide #frivolous
