@gcvsa@mstdn.plus "large body" and "drastic cleanup" make me think to give vim a try (or rather gvim) but the learning curve is as steep as every joke on the internet says - you have to earn the power.
other than that "kate" as a pretty good reputation in terms of what you expect from a text editor if you really wanted a new editor besides bluefish.

@sushee@ohai.social I know exactly enough vi to occasionally edit a config file, save it, and close it, and that's all the vi I will ever want to learn. :D I've been using UNIX and UNIX-likes off and on since 1986.
