I'm figuring out more and more why people use perspective grids. One big advantage is that you get to see how things are going to overlap a lot quicker. It's been very frustrating to calculate all the lines for a box only to realize that the lines are flowing into the lines of another box behind it, and the viewer isn't going to be able the clearly see how they overlap.
