We have an instance of NextCloud at dayjob. It has a barely working search. I thought, what if it works better on a Chromium browser? For this occasions, I have Vivaldi. I open it, and NextCloud works just as bad. Vivaldi has updated itself. It now looks like GoLand and the new GitLab. You know, the playful purple gradient on the semi-transparent background UI with monochrome icons in those dockers, contrasting purely by colour with the page content. Seems to be a trend now. I find myself quite enjoying this kind of design. Also lately I've found I'm ok with Liquid Glass design. What's happening?! Where's my non-conformism?
