18 anarchists in Turin Italy were convicted and sentenced to prison terms ranging from 18 months to 5.5 years for a demonstration in solidarity with long term anarchist prisoner Alfredo Cospito.

Italian anarchist prisoner Luca "Stecco" Dolce joined UK Palestine Action hunger strike in solidarity, the hunger strike was successful in getting some conditions met.
