@RolandRides@mastodon.social @bert_hubert Instead of cloning the predatory Amazon/Google/Microsoft cloud model, perhaps this is a opportunity to do something different? There are a few services that you probably should not try to build yourself, like account management. These things are almost always WORSE when you try to do innovative things. So, maybe European cloud providers should think in terms of building really nice drawer slides, latches, and legs, so that it's easier to build good furniture?
