If you can, please help me #GetFediHired and escape the US. I'm a front-end web dev with over 20 years of experience. I know React, of course, but I consider my core skills to be: * HTML, CSS, and JS/TypeScript * accessibility * listening to users and caring about them * hence, UI and UX I'll need visa sponsorship. @kagan@wandering.shop How about Canada? If you are an American citizen, you don't need visa: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/entry-requirements-country.html#american-traveller A plane or a ship is not necessary either. 🙂

@kagan@wandering.shop Might be worth pinning a short post to your profile. Also, what citizenship(s) do you have? If your parents or grandparents or even further back have any Euro heritage, you may find you have other citizenships you don't know about. If you have any Euro citizenship, the Eurozone is your oyster :-)

@kagan@wandering.shop Have ypu considered finding a job you can do remotely and doing it on digital nomad visas? Plenty of countries offer this option.
