@jeffcliff@shitposter.world It is fascinating how long discussions can last in the field of philosophy. But that tends to happen in a field, where you have no immediate error correction in the form of empirical evidence. Then, from time to time, the latest and greatest findings in science seep through, alter the course of the discussion in philosophy, and it then tries to integrate the new findinds. The interplay between quantum physics and philosophy is a very interesting example for instance.
