@CoralineAda@ruby.social somehow, tech workers bought into the myth that with stock/stock options, they were "owners" like the actual stake holders. nope. never been true. it's always been workers vs owners and the way you get any leverage at all as workers is unions. the co-opting and corrupting of some major unions by organized crimes gave the government and owners an excuse to blame unions but organized crime was the issue, not unions. time for serious growth in union membership.
