TPM has excerpts from a book on Bernie’s 2020 campaign, saying his plans hinged on winning the first three states; especially Iowa. His experts were wrong. Biden lost those states and it made no difference. The Bandwagon-Momentum Theory is a media myth. GOP nominees have almost always lost the Iowa caucus including Reagan, Bush Sr, and Trump. Even in this book they act like Biden won the nomination because Bernie didn’t attack his defeat in Iowa.
