@crooksandliars I think one of the biggest causes of the post-Covid inflation was the media constantly hyping up inflation, making people accept it so businesses felt more comfortable raising prices even more to see how far they could go. And they blamed Biden, not businesses for higher prices. Supply & Demand is based on people choosing cheaper alternatives when prices go up. But if people simply accept higher prices the market can’t function properly.
