I've tested and confirmed - it's cheaper & more fun to visit #Taipei or #Seoul from #Kansai than #Tokyo. Helps that I know more people in both cities too, and both have much more vibrant international journalism & NGO communities. Kinda don't see the point in going to Tokyo anymore. If I want to travel in Japan, lots of other places I'd rather go.
