Why does the legacy media call those politicians who demand policies that actually benefit ordinary Americans "progressive" in a negative tone? Yes, they are demanding affordable healthcare, childcare and education and safe school environments where kids don't get shot dead. Citizens in all other wealthy democracies enjoy these things even in countries long governed by rightwing parties such as Japan and Italy.
