He continues to question whether U.S. has interests in Ukraine and prefers countering China. Condemns Russia but says the attacks reinforce his view they need a quick negotiated peace to end the killing. His view is 180 degrees from Mitch McConnell and most of the GOP defense establishment, but aligns with Trump.
