I'm always baffled when smaller creators use AI. The reason why they're resorting to AI, is because it's cheap and fast. They're okay with artist exploitation, as long as they get to benefit from it. Yet, at the same time, they are smaller indie creators themselves and expect people to pay for their products. The hypocrisy is staggering. As an example, I just received a newsletter from Sandy Petersen, using an AI generated "Cthulhu Christmas" visual, and immediately unsubscribed.
