I am like generations of my family before me the steward of this forest on the west coast of Ireland, and in my yard on the beach I continue my family trade of building wooden boats. I am a wife, twice over and twice widowed, mother to a fine woman, grandmother to two, and soon to be a great-grandmother. My way of life I inherit from my family, including my dedication to the Mórrígan.
