I don't get it. I installed a new SSD. Installed Linux from scratch on the new SSD. Copied some files from the old, dying SSD to the new one but just documents and pictures and stuff. Basically started over. The EXACT SAME btrfs errors I was getting before are happening again. It's not even the same brand of SSD. It's not even the same factory that made the silicon on my new SSD! Is my computer haunted? Seriously, what the actual hell is going on here?! Drive randomly flips to read-only and then my whole system gradually dies, usually starting with the taskbar disappearing, then different windows, then Plasma dies all together, drops me to the tty, where I get to watch a couple btrfs errors pop up before the whole thing shuts down. Boot it up again, the last several minutes are missing from the journal so I have no logs of whatever the hell just happened, and the computer's back to normal again. It's possessed, I tell you.
