This is frustrating. I built extensive monitoring and alerting procedures for the majority of our data platform. So today we got a slew of failures overnight. Everyone scrambles to figure out the issues and do nothing but spin out with zero clue what’s happening. Every single member of the team has put a rule on the alerts so they never see them. Then when issues come up if Claude can’t fix it for them they have no idea because they aren’t looking at the alerts that tell them exactly what broke, when, and why. Because they forgot the alerts exist.
