@yaxu@post.lurk.org thank you for sharing! I knew something of the pioneering mechanical contraptions but not this specifically - that’s beautiful. Appreciated. (I find the fact that many ancient cultures didn’t have a word for “music” very helpful, too. Or alternatively, the notion that there’s very loud musical sound all around that most of us simply can’t hear.)
