@jonoabroad@mastodon.nz He doesn't like people learning and playing with the tech. He compared it to someone teaching themselves electricity, and then trying to re-wire the electricity in their house.
I told him, "That's a terrible analogy because doing that can kill you."
And he literally said to me, "It's not that dangerous but close!"

@atomicpoet@mastodon.social @jonoabroad@mastodon.nz well that doesn't sound surprising to me as it is dangerous, but for Google. Many of googles services are based on people not hosting their stuff themselves.
