@irfan@sakurajima.social AC is not the default in residential houses across Europe, it’s the exception. UK, Ireland, Germany, the Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland), the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, and the Baltic states. Even in warmer countries like France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece, AC is far from the default in homes it’s more common in the south and in commercial spaces. I remember holidays in south of france (rented accomodations) where we went each afternoon around 14h-15h30 to a large mall/shop to benefit of fresh air.
