@nicole@tietz.social
here is how I use LLMs to help me with work projects
1. Run into a problem
2. Realize I have about 100 other things I have to get done yesterday
3. Breath a sigh of relief when the LLM gives me an answer in a minute or two
4. Get to work on the other 99 things my boss is on about

@failedLyndonLaRouchite@mas.to @nicole@tietz.social The answer is either stolen, obvious garbage, or plausible but wrong. And is destroying the environment.

@failedLyndonLaRouchite@mas.to the root problem here is having unrealistic expectations of labor. those lead to a decrease in quality, which is a problem LLMs or not. we have a responsibility to work with intention and deliberate mind to the impact of our work, whether using an LLM or not, and our managers must give us the slack we need to do that. unfortunately, many places rush things so much we can't do truly ethical development.
