@oldladyplays@wargamers.social I recently put rainbow shoelaces in my boots that I got at pride (mainly because my lace broke and they were the only ones I had left, lol). A co-worker complimented me on them and it made me feel really nice. I've been pretty cis-presenting in recent years, mainly because I'm too lazy to goth it up in my old age, but I've been trying to find subtle ways to express my genderqueerness - cool suspenders, patterned socks, etc. I might try braiding and beading my beard on occasion. Just a few touches to make me feel more like myself

@XauriEL@mastodon.nz Oh, I love that! Genderqueer people are some of my most-fun friends. One changes zir gender every day to something entirely new to zem. It's fantastic. I hope you keep finding things to be joyful about. 😍
