@aarbrk@mstdn.mx @amapanda@en.osm.town That makes sense, it's broadly what I had in mind but had forgotten the specific term.
I wonder if some of these names are similar in nature to the field names in Ireland that @BUnicycling@mastodon.ie has written about - the very small area suggest some of them might be, or at least may have started that way. I think field names mapped in Ireland have generally been tagged on an object representing the field itself, rather than with generic place tags, so wouldn't show up in this query.
