@alilly@solarpunk.moe (out of character) i wonder what range of responses a reasonable, well-researched answer to this would be for the first generation (as far as we know) of future orbital laser bombardment platforms, and whether performing said research for, say, a science fiction story, would land one on inconvenient lists
