@eb@social.coop It's funny as a meme, but this is why AI is getting "tools" lately: it will not do math itself, but rather call a calculator tool and use it. Or a Python interpreter.
And it's happening already since the past year.

@partysam@mstdn.party @eb@social.coop OK, sure, but hear me out now: Excel *could already to calculation!* You're defending the decision to have a machine burn as much energy as an idling semi & waste a person's daily intake of water to try & quite possibly fail to outsource calculation from a tool that can already do it.
