To be clear, we're not saying Signal has any security problems.
This is about use case. Signal is a consumer messaging app.
Governments shouldn't use consumer messaging apps for the same reasons they shouldn't use personal email accounts.

That does seems out of your scope and relates more to how well the people in question were trained in this particular matter. Additionally i think the only way europe will stay independent is if we trust and fund fully open source software.
