Good morning from Chiloquin, OR, USA. This is the first full day of my 2026 music retreat, a 10 day, 1,800 mile solo road trip that includes stops at Crater Lake and Mt Hood plus performances at a street band festival next week in Seattle (https://honkfestwest.org/). I’ve packed a wide variety of instruments, from alto sax to my homebrew modular synth. I plan on spending my days outdoors, focusing on being present. At night the travel trailer becomes a mobile studio where I compose and record.
