One batch of potatoes: in the bag. Peas and beans: started. Carrots: freshly planted, after I sifted any lumps and hard bits out of the soil, and they currently have cling wrap over top in addition to some wooden planks to create a mini greenhouse.

It puts it all into perspective a little, because gardening requires planning months in advance and an acceptance that it might not work out and you'll make mistakes. And I feel a sharper level of respect for the systems of nature, instead of the various levels of abstraction I work with daily.
