It puts it all into perspective a little, because gardening requires planning months in advance and an acceptance that it might not work out and you'll make mistakes. And I feel a sharper level of respect for the systems of nature, instead of the various levels of abstraction I work with daily.

And I've had veggies that I've grown and they taste incredible. Anyways, this is a formal recommendation for Zach Galifianakis's Netflix series, This Is A Gardening Show, which is not really about how to garden so much as why people garden.
